Help Lay John Ryan Shimkowiak to Rest

On May 11, 2025, John Ryan Shimkowiak was in a fatal motorcycle accident, taking his life at the young age of 46. John left behind three daughters: Mercedez, 27; Savannah, 19; Aaliyah, 17; a grandson, Jameson, one; and a granddaughter due in July. John also has a surviving sister, Heather Shimkowiak.

No one was prepared to have to put John to rest or the expense that comes with it, especially at the age of 46. His children are grieving the loss of their father and trying to figure out how to put him to rest. They are young and just starting life. No one could be prepared for this, so we're asking all of our friends and family to please help John and his family in such a terrible time. John was an amazing father and loved his children with all of his heart. He was a hard worker, but unfortunately, he did not plan for something terrible like this. We will be putting John to rest at Walker Funeral Home. Services are unknown at this time due to the extent of the accident. The money will go to his funeral service, burial, and memorial arrangements. No donation is too small, and we would like to thank everyone in advance. Please help this family.
