Help Lay John Luke Edelmann to Rest

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Reaching out with a heavy heart to humbly ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time. As many of you know, my ex-husband, John Luke Edelmann, a dedicated law enforcement officer for 25 years, has recently passed away. His service, commitment, and devotion to his communities from a street cop, to detective, to an FBI Task Force Negotiator, to an Investigator from Florida to Colorado touched countless lives, and he made a lasting impact through his years of protecting and serving.

Unfortunately, his sudden passing has left the unexpected and burdensome responsibility of managing funeral and burial costs to me. As you can imagine, this financial burden is not one we were prepared for, and now am struggling to manage the expenses on my own. While I never imagined having to ask for help in this way, I am reaching out to those who knew John, those who respected his service, and those who understand the profound toll this loss has taken on all his loved ones.

I am asking for your kindness and generosity during this time to help cover the costs of his funeral and final arrangements. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards ensuring that he is honored and laid to rest with dignity. Any monies above the costs will be put into special accounts for his 3 boys.

I understand that times are tough for many, but if you are able to contribute, it would mean more to his immediate family & loved ones more than words can express. We are grateful for any support, whether financial or simply by sharing this campaign with others.
