Joey, my husband’s brother, was a remarkable person who touched the lives of everyone around him. Over 30 years ago, Joey was in an accident that left him with brain damage, but he never let that define him. He continued to love his family deeply, found joy in playing games, and was devoted to his church and faith. His resilience and positive spirit inspired all who knew him.
On Thursday, Joey was enjoying one of his favorite pastimes when he was suddenly taken from us by an aneurysm. While we are heartbroken by his loss, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with his Lord, and living the life he once had before his accident. Joey’s unwavering faith and love for life will always be remembered by those who loved him most.
Joey did not have life insurance, and our family is now facing the unexpected costs of bringing him to his final resting place. We are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time. Any help you can provide will be deeply appreciated as we honor Joey’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves. Thank you for your kindness and support.
