My name is Malinda Williams and I'm trying to raise funds to lay my amazing husband Joe to rest. March of 2021 my best friend started getting very sick and after a trip to the doctors office and several hours in the emergency room we was given the deviating news that Joe had stage 4 stomach and liver cancer; high grade neuroendocrine carcinoma with mastasis to be exact. Early April Joe started a chemotherapy and immune therapy, and for months we fought, fought an impossible battle against this horrible disease. The side effects of not only the cancer but the chemotherapy was very exhausting on his body. But through the whole ordeal Joe remained positive, and still tried to do everything he possibly could for anyone he could. Joe was an amazing man who loved to enjoy life. Joe has three amazing children and 3 amazing step children and was very excited about meeting our first grandson. Although he was not feeling well, and even in constant pain he never complained and most of the time had as smile on his face. He loved spending with the kids by taking them to a park, on a picnic, and even taking them to the lakes and teaching them how to fish. You could usually find him working on a car or sitting around a bonfire with his family and friends. Last night the battle was finally too much for his weakened body and he lost the battle against this horrible disease. I had just started a new job and signed him up for spousal life insurance because of his preexisting condition we could not get life insurance from anywhere except a group insurance. Unfortunately there was a wait period before the insurance would become effective, and his battle was over before the waiting period. So now I'm asking everyone to find it in their hearts to please help me give my amazing, brave husband the services he really deserves so he may finally be completely at peace, and so our children and family can have their closure of being able to say goodbye one last time.
