I’m Lataya and I’m raising money to pay for my brother Jimmy’s funeral. He was only 54 years old. He was getting ready for dialysis and suddenly stopped breathing. The nurses and paramedics attempted CPR but were unable to save him. He couldn’t get life insurance because he had preexisting health conditions. The one company that would insure him wanted us to pay $400 a month. We couldn’t afford to pay that and all of the monthly expenses. So he had to go with out insurance. He lost his mother 6 years ago and our father has Dementia and can not care for himself. So the expense of laying him to rest has fallen on me. This is extremely hard to do because I am a single parent of 4 and the only person that works in my home. All I want is to lay my brother to rest. He deserves to be laid to rest peacefully.
