My name is Lisa, and I recently lost my husband, Jim Creager, the Tuesday after Mother's Day. Jim and I were married for 48 years, and he was my high school sweetheart. Together, we adopted four children and fostered others, building a loving family and a life full of memories. Jim was a man who loved to fish and found true happiness in farming, a passion he carried from his childhood through to his later years. His kindness, dedication, and love for our family touched everyone who knew him.
This loss has been incredibly hard, both emotionally and financially. I am currently living on a limited income from social security, and I am unable to cover the extra costs for Jim's cremation that DHS won't help with. Having his ashes at his memorial service would mean so much to our family, allowing us to honor his memory and say our goodbyes together.
I am reaching out for help during this difficult time. Any support you can offer, whether through a donation or simply by sharing our story, would be deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Even if you are unable to give, your support and compassion mean the world to me and my family.
