Hello my name is Matthew. I am Jerry Ortiz Jr’s brother, making this in regard to his passing.

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of my brother, Jerry on June 29th. Our family is devastated and trying to navigate through this incredibly difficult time.

Jerry suffered from a extremely rare condition called NF2(Neurofibromatosis type II). He was a big hearted, kind soul no matter what this condition put him through.

His sudden loss has left a hole in our hearts, and we want to honor his life with a proper memorial service.

Unfortunately, the costs of a funeral and burial have placed a financial burden on our family. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone who feels moved to help us give Jerry the farewell he deserves.
