On Saturday, July 26, 2025, we unexpectedly lost a truly incredible woman—Jeannie Leyden. Born in February 1, 1949, Jeannie was a devoted wife to the late William Thomas Leyden, a proud U.S. Coast Guard veteran, and a loving mother to all 7 of her children. Her life was defined by generosity, strength, and unconditional love.

Jeannie gave everything to care for others, and now it’s our turn to care for her. A service date has not been set as the funeral arrangements are being made as we speak. We will update as plans are made.

Sadly, there were no funds set aside for funeral arrangements, and the life insurance policy had not fully matured. The burden has fallen to the kids to help pay for her funeral out of pocket.

We are asking for your help to give Jeannie the dignified farewell she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and help ease the pressure on Jonathan and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
