Help Lay Jawaun to Rest

On August 16, 2025, our family experienced a devastating tragedy. Our beloved Jawaun, only 16 years old, was taken from us far too soon in a drowning accident in the Arkansas River.

Jawaun was a bright, loving young soul with his whole future ahead of him. He was a son, a brother, and a nephew who brought light, laughter, and joy into every room he entered. His smile could brighten the darkest day, and his heart was full of love for his family and friends.

He leaves behind his heartbroken mother, his little sister, and a family that will forever carry him in our hearts. As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also faced with the overwhelming costs of giving Jawaun the proper funeral and memorial he deserves.
