On June 28, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when our beloved Jacobie Amos was tragically killed in Memphis. Jacobie was only 31 years old and would have celebrated his 32nd birthday on July 12. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, family member, and friend. We always imagined that our siblings and family would grow older together. We shared so many laughs, checked on one another, and often talked about our childhood and the memories we made growing up. His big, beautiful smile and the joy he brought to our family will be deeply missed.

Because Jacobie did not have life insurance, our family is facing the unexpected financial responsibility of funeral and burial expenses while also trying to grieve this heartbreaking loss.
