My sister and I need your support to raise funds to help cover the transportation and funeral costs to lay our mother to rest beside her family in her home state of South Carolina.
Our mother was love in human form. She was gentle, caring, and incredibly selfless—the kind of woman who would give her last to make sure someone else was okay. Her joy was contagious, her laughter filled rooms, and her presence brought peace. She was not just a mother, but a safe place, a prayer warrior, and a light to everyone who knew her. The warmth she brought to many was undeniable.
Jackie loved to throw down in the kitchen and sing, whether in church, around the house, or just because the moment felt right. She loved to chat and could turn the simplest conversation into something meaningful and memorable.
She became unwell in December and after three short hospital stays, we found out in mid-January she had stage 4 lung cancer. She was supposed to start her radiation for her brain lesions on February 16, but her appointment was canceled due to her stabilization mask failing inspection. Later that day, our mom transitioned to be with the Lord.
We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer during this difficult time. Your kindness will help us honor our mother's memory and give her the farewell she deserves.
