UPDATE! The memorial service will be wednesday July 31st at 6 pm at mullinax funeral home in butler Mo. We have reached our goal and i would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and the family thanks you as well. We appreciate all the love and support we have been given. My name is Joy and I am a friend of Hailey Slinger's family. I have been a family friend since the day she was born. I've known her parents for 30 years. I was asked by her mother to start this GoFundMe as she is too distraught to handle the situation.

Hailey was 22 years old. She was bright, funny, and had so much left to give this world. Hailey was killed on July 21, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, just 4 days ago. Her family was informed this morning after identification was made. Her family was not prepared for this type of expense. The funeral home has quoted a price of $2900 and they are needing half up front.

I am asking for you to help donate to putting our beloved Hailey to rest. I asked for $3000 so the family has enough to cover the funeral and any extra costs that may arise. Hailey leaves behind her mother Julie, her stepfather Louis, her father Richard (Shane), a brother Walker, and 2 sisters Krista and Grace, her grandmother Peggy, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
