Help Lay Gene and 8-Year-Old Kegan to Rest & Support Army Veteran Lucas and 2-Year-Old Kiera

Early the morning of July 12, 2025, a devastating fire tore through a mobile home in rural Logan County, Oklahoma. Tragically, Gene, a devoted mother, and her 8-year-old son, Kegan, were among the three lives lost. Our family is devastated.

In her final moments, Gene was a hero—doing everything she could to save her son. Her bravery and love for Kegan were unwavering. Kegan was a bright, energetic boy who loved superheroes, riding his bike, and playing with his baby sister. They were each other’s whole world.

The fire also changed the lives of Lucas and 2-year-old Kiera, who both survived. Lucas, a recently separated U.S. Army veteran, now faces the unimaginable: the loss of his partner and son, the trauma of a tragic fire, and the responsibility of raising a toddler while starting over from absolutely nothing.
