On May 2, 2026, our family lost both Netta and Jody in a devastating house fire. Netta was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who meant so much to everyone who knew her. Jody shared a special bond with his mom, and their loss has left a deep void in our hearts and in the lives of their family.

In the days since their passing, we have come to learn that due to ongoing health challenges for both Netta and Jody, their retirement, savings, and investments had been depleted. Jody was unable to work, and despite their efforts, the funds did not last.

At this time, there are not enough financial resources to cover funeral expenses for either of them. Craig Lynn and Joel’s children are now faced with the heartbreaking burden of trying to lay both of them to rest without the means to do so.

Currently, Netta and Jody are in Dallas, Texas, and will need to be transported to Seminole, Oklahoma, where services will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home. Our goal is to give them the dignified and loving service they deserve.

We are asking for help to cover:

* Transportation from Dallas, TX to Seminole, OK

* Funeral and burial expenses for both Netta and Jody

Any funds raised beyond funeral expenses will go directly to supporting their grandchildren. This includes helping with future education and assisting with medical needs—especially for one great-granddaughter who requires speech therapy.
