Help Lay Felicia Benally to Rest

Donation protected
Hello everyone here’s an update about my mom Felicia Benally.

As of late January we had a scare on her health that led her into the ICU. And while she was severely ill she slowely came out of it and was able to recover into a rehab. During this time her health was at an all time low and many risks would need to be attainted through a professional. But due to some complications of the person she was with she discharged herself for the safety of her family. With that in mind this individual would tear this family apart and separate their mother from them. While at home she couldnt recover properly and wouldn’t get the help she needed to surpass a healthy state. And while things might of seemed ok her health would soon decline as she couldn’t get the treatment that was required. And as of last week she would be flow out to Arizona from New Mexico on critical condition where she would soon pass away from her sickness.

Felicia was a mother of five including Nariah Yazzie (21), Nakayla Yazzie (19) and her three younger children “D” (16), “H” (11), and “S” (10). Since she lost her husband Matthew Benally (veteran) from COVID in 2020 she has taken on the role of running their business and becoming a single mother. And since then felicia, nariah, and nakayla had continued their business and worked together as a family to provide for each other. Many might know felicia from her business “the benallys” located at the windowrock and gallup flea market. Or even at the tuba city, shiprock and windowrock fair. But many would also say they know her from different places that shes worked. Whether you met her through these connections or not, without a doubt she made a huge impact from her kindness and aspiration on her interactions. Felicia has had a huge impact within different communities and has made many connections. Felicia was not only a mother but a friend, daughter, friend, aunty, sister, boss, and coworker. She loved any interaction with anyone she came upon and would welcome them with open arms. She’s will be missed dearly and her loss will not only impact her five children but the entire community.

As of right now Nariah and Nakayla Yazzie will have to take on the responsibilities of their mother and carry on what she left. Nariah and Nakayla Yazzie are looking for any help to raise money to lay their mother to rest and give her a proper burial and reception. So starting now we will take donations of any kind through go fund me or through the rollie mortuary located in gallup. We will be holding a donation event at the Gallup Flea Market and Windowrock Flea Market on Saturday May 31st to anyone that would like to come in person.

We appreciate your kindness and ask for privacy during this difficult time. And if you were a close friend or relative and would like to know more on how to donate or participate please contact me directly through here with your name and number.

Forever and Always thankful
The Benallys❤️
