Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. Your generosity is turning a stressful situation into a possible reality, allowing us to honor Erik in the way he would have wanted. Once we have a confirmed date for his memorial, I will share it here—it will be sometime in April. Our plan is also to spread his ashes at sea, as we all know how much Erik loved the ocean. We are focusing on making that happen and truly appreciate your continued support.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Erik Johnson in the early morning of February 28, 2025. Erik’s life was tragically cut short due to complications from diabetes. His passing was unexpected, and his family is now facing the heartbreaking reality of laying him to rest without the financial means to do so.

Erik did not have life insurance, and his loved ones are struggling to cover the costs of his burial. Our goal is to give him a respectful and dignified farewell, honoring the life he lived and the people he touched.
