Eddie and Katie are true high school sweethearts. They have been together since they were 16 and married when they were both 21. They have 2 perfect children and thought they would live a long happy life together. On October 20, 2011 Eddie suffered a brain injury leaving him in a coma for weeks. Since that day Eddie, Katie and there 2 kids have been threw more ups and downs than most of us will in a lifetime. Eddie was placed in a rehab facility a few times in hopes he would regain the chance at a normal life. Unfortunately his life was all but normal. After failed attempts of recovery Katie brought her husband home. She cared for him as a wife, a nurse and even as a mother would. Eddie needed round the clock care. Katie had a nurse for him while she went to work but other than that she would have to find a friend or family member to sit with him if she needed to go anywhere even the store or a function for the kids. After a few years of caring for him at home she made the painful decision to put him in a nursing home so that her kids could have some what of a normal life. Katie still made sure to visit with him often. Even though Eddie could no longer be the father he wanted to be he still made the kids laugh and payed attention to them and built a special bond that can never be broken. Eddie endured so much physical and mental pain. All of that ended on March 20, 2018. I am asking for help to give Eddie the funeral he deserves and to give his family a nice place to visit there father, husband, son and brother.Thank you
