On December 31, 2025, at 7:13 am, our loving Duncan Wilson was pronounced deceased. We are still waiting on the results for the cause of death, but what we do know is that Duncan struggled for years with mental illness and addiction. Our family’s hardships began when our grandmother, who raised us, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and had to be placed in a nursing home. After that, we lost everything and became homeless, with Duncan having to sleep outside while battling his illness without insurance or support.
Now, as we face the unimaginable pain of losing Duncan, we are also struggling to give him the respectful farewell he deserves. Unfortunately, we did not have life insurance for my brother, and the costs of a funeral and burial are more than our family can manage alone. We want to honor Duncan’s memory and give him the proper burial he deserves, but we need help to do so.
We are reaching out to our community and anyone who feels moved by Duncan’s story. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us lay him to rest with dignity. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. #MENTALHEALTHISREAL
