My mother, Diane Johnson Jelks, was a caring, fun, and honest person who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was the proud mother of three beautiful daughters—Reshonda, Laetia, and myself, Trinity. Diane had a wonderful sense of humor, and our family shared so many moments filled with laughter and joy. Her smile could light up any room, and her kindness was felt by all who knew her.

We are heartbroken to share that Diane has left us far too soon. Unfortunately, her life insurance policy is under two years old, and Ponds Funeral Home will not accept it. This unexpected situation has left us needing to raise funds quickly to cover her funeral expenses. We want nothing more than to lay her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves, surrounded by the family and friends who cherished her.
