Hi my name is Melissa Roan and I’m raising funds for funeral services for my nephew Demetrius Blake.

I never thought we’d be here in such a short time asking for funeral donations again. But here we are.

It is with tremendous sadness to announce that we lost our beloved family and friend Demetrius Blake.

His life was cut short at the age of 28 years old, he was battling with depression and mental illness which has led him to take his own life. With great sadness his depression started with the passing of his mother in 2020, his dad in 2021 and his brother in 2022. He is survived by his two brothers Joshua and Dwight.

Demetrius tried his best to keep his life together after the passing of his parents and brother. He was full of life and joy, which brought his loving nature to family and friends. He was loving, kind and sweet. Demetrius had numerous talents, he especially loved to work outdoors. He loved to laugh, have fun and knew how to cheer up others around him when they were feeling down.

Demetrius had such a beautiful smile. But behind that smile was so much pain and suffering. We will undoubtedly miss him, his smile, his cooking and his laugh.
