Help Lay Debo to Rest Alongside his Brother

On Friday, April 18, 2025, Barney (Debo) Kittles, Jr. was murdered in a senseless act of violence in Newport News, VA. Debo was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 27, 1984. He was a father, a brother, a son, and a beloved friend to many. This loss has sent shockwaves through his family, loved ones, and community. Debo was such a bright light and a source of energy for those lucky enough to be in his presence. As people heard "HEELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO!!!" all loud and excited, it brought joy.

We would give anything to hear just one more hello from him.

Unfortunately, this unexpected tragedy has placed a very immediate and large financial burden on our family to pay for services. Debo will be interred with his Brother Christopher McLaurin at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey. The costs associated with preparing him for transport, the transport from VA to NY, funeral services, and burial services are anticipated to range between $15,000 and $20,000.
