My partner, David Akimoto—known to many as Yuchan—was a loving, selfless person who cared deeply for his daughter and everyone around him. His sudden and unexpected passing has left a huge hole in our lives, and we are still coming to terms with this loss. David’s kindness and generosity touched so many people, and I want to honor his memory in a way that reflects the love he gave to others.

We are now facing the difficult task of arranging funeral and memorial services for David. The costs associated with giving him a peaceful resting place are more than we can manage alone.
