Dave Bausby was a beloved son and brother and a special soul who faced many challenges in life. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, mild intellectual disability, and prone to seizures in his sleep, Dave was known and loved by many in our community. Despite his struggles, he brought light to those around him and was a cherished part of our family.
On December 11th, our lives changed forever. Dave, unfamiliar with the dangers of drugs, made a tragic decision that cost him his life. He was found in his room, and despite the ambulance crew working tirelessly for 40 minutes, they could not bring him back. Dave was pronounced dead around 6pm, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled.
We are now facing not only the pain of losing Dave but also the financial burden of funeral and memorial costs. Without Dave's income, we are struggling to afford rent and basic living expenses. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any support you can offer, especially so close to the holidays, would be a true blessing to us. Thank you for considering helping our family honor Dave's memory and get through this challenging chapter.
