Help lay Daniel to rest

Daniel Trujillo was a victim of a hit and run committed by two off-duty police officers on May 22, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. He was left in a vegetative state for almost two months and eventually succumbed to his injuries. The police officers involved fled the scene and did not provide any type of aid or even care to check if he was okay. They failed to contact law enforcement and did not return to the scene until almost three hours later but did not hesitate to contact an attorney before returning to the scene. The media treated Daniel as if he was a homeless John Doe without friends or family. The investigation is ongoing, and the two police officers involved were let free and placed on paid leave while their own department investigates the incident.
