Help Lay Daniel 'Red' Madrid to Rest

Hello, my name is Maggie (Margaret) Madrid Varela and I am in desperate need of help to bury my big brother Daniel Madrid III

But if you knew my brother then you knew him as Red, Red Boy or Dan Boy.

He is know by many and is remembered by all whether you know him for years or for an hour, he always made an impression.

Sadly on June 11th my family was struck with tragedy when we found out that Red passed away from a stroke, he was only 56.

There are no words to express how we are feeling at this time. My bother was very selfless and the most generous person I know always helping everyone and any one. He would help strangers on the street if they looked like they needed help. He could never save money because he was always giving it out to people. And this was evident because for a living he was a caregiver. He worked with elderly, kids, disabled and mentally challenged. He always got in trouble at work cause he would work too much, too many hours or always paying our of his pocket for the clients bills or buying them gifts, and taking them places. He never asked for anything in return. His last client kept trying to give him a car, he said because Daniel was such a pain in the ** and worked to hard taking care of him that it was the least he could do but my brother declined, even though his own car was old and needed work. He had such a knack for for helping people. He almost never had time to himself, he spent birthdays, holidays, 2-3 weeks straight with his clients because he refused to leave them without a proper caregiver or no caregiver, even working for free.

After the passing of Reds last client he decided to take time off from working and help me with the care of our mom and our dad, who had incurable cancer. He said he knew how had it gets toward the end and wanted to help me thru it. He has always done what he can for me, his mom, his nieces, and his nephews. He always gave all he could and all he had, in time and money.

Now we have the hard task of laying him to rest and trying to carry out his wishes of being laid to rest with our Grandma Maggie.

This is finding us at a time where we are unable to do so, we are asking for help from you and everyone we know.

Red is survived by his Husband Oscar, his parents Dan and Sally, brother Nathan, sister Maggie and 17 Nieces and Nephews and his life long friend Eric.
