Our family is heartbroken to share the sudden passing of our beloved nephew, Daniel “Danny” Williscroft Jr., on May 1, 2026, due to complications from pneumonia.
Danny was born on January 28, 1972, and from the very beginning of his life, he faced extraordinary challenges with strength and resilience. He was born deaf and later diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, yet he lived his life surrounded by love and family who cherished him deeply.
Danny was the oldest son of our brother, Daniel Williscroft Sr. Tragically, this is the third son our brother has had to lay to rest—an unimaginable burden no parent should ever have to endure.
Danny is predeceased by his two brothers:
• Richard Williscroft (1974–2002), who was severely autistic and passed away at just 28 years old following a seizure-related fall
• Michael Williscroft (1975–2022), who was born with one kidney and endured three kidney transplants before losing his battle at the age of 47
Our brother, Daniel Williscroft Sr., a 100% disabled USMC Vietnam Veteran exposed to Agent Orange, has spent his life caring for his sons, all of whom were born with serious medical conditions. Despite everything, he has shown unwavering love, strength, and dedication to his family.
Now, he is facing the devastating loss of his third son and the financial burden of funeral expenses.
We are asking for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time. No amount is too small—every donation will go directly toward giving Danny the respectful and dignified farewell he deserves, and easing the burden on a father who has already endured so much loss.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
