Daijah was just 18 years old and had recently graduated on June 11th. She was the second oldest child of her dad, and her siblings truly looked up to her. Even my own children, who are not her biological siblings, felt the warmth of her spirit in our blended family. We always supported each other, and Daijah was a big part of that love and unity. Her presence brought so much joy and comfort to everyone around her.
Tragically, Daijah was shot and killed, leaving our family heartbroken and unprepared for such a devastating loss. We want nothing more than to honor her memory and give her the proper burial she deserves. The funds raised will go directly toward her funeral expenses, helping us lay her to rest with dignity and love.
I’m asking everyone who comes across this fundraiser to please donate anything you can. We’ll be so thankful for whatever support you are able to give—no amount is too small. Our family was not prepared for this, and we truly need your help to give Daijah a proper funeral and burial. For those who knew her, you know that to know Daijah was to love her. She was one of a kind—so sweet and pure to everyone she met. Once she built a connection with you, she made sure you felt her love. Thank you for helping us honor her memory.
