Our hearts are completely broken as we share that our beloved Cristine Taylor, of Toledo, Ohio, has passed away unexpectedly at just 41 years old.
Crissey was the most loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend — a light in every life she touched. She was the proud mom of two beautiful little girls, just 8 and 2 years old, who now face life without their mother. Our family is devastated beyond words as we try to make sense of this loss and figure out how to give Crissey the farewell she deserves while caring for her girls.
Crissey was my mom’s only sister, my only aunt, and truly one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. She was God-fearing, compassionate, and always put others before herself. She had a way of making everyone feel loved, safe, and seen. Crissey’s family and community meant everything to her — she showed up for everyone, offering love, laughter, and support whenever it was needed. Even in her passing, Crissey showed her incredible generosity by being an organ donor — giving others the gift of life when hers was taken far too soon. That act alone speaks to the selflessness and love that defined who she was every single day.
We are asking for help during this unimaginable time. Funds raised will go directly toward Crissey’s funeral and burial expenses, as well as care and support for her two daughters. Money is very tight, and we want to make sure her children are surrounded by love and stability as we grieve and adjust to life without her.
The date and location of services will be shared with immediate family and friends once arrangements are finalized.
Any amount helps — no matter how small. Even if you can’t donate, please share this page to help us reach others who may want to support Crissey’s memory and her girls.
Crissey was the heart of our family, and her love will live on through her children, her family, her community, and all who knew her — and now, through the lives she’s saved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support, prayers, and kindness during this heartbreaking time.
Rest in peace, Crissey. We love you forever. I hope there’s a donut eating contest wherever you are, I know you’re already the champ.
