Help Lay Cherrie to Rest with Dignity

It is with deep sorrow that I share the passing of a truly wonderful woman, Cherrie, who left us on the evening of March 3rd, 2025. Cherrie was not only a loving mother to her two daughters, Lizzie and Jenny, but also a cherished friend, mentor, and second mother to me. Cherrie also leaves behind her mom Minga.

Growing up, Cherrie was a constant source of support. From the time I was just 7 years old, she was there for me, whether it was helping to babysit, providing meals when my family was struggling financially, or offering a safe place when we needed it most. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds.

Cherrie leaves behind her two daughters, Lizzie and Jenny, as well as five grandchildren. As we navigate this difficult time, we are working to honor her memory and ensure that she is laid to rest with the dignity she deserves. The cost of the basic cremation package is $1,150, and any contributions toward this goal would be immensely appreciated.

Cherrie had an incredible impact on the lives of so many. Whether it was offering a meal when food was scarce or a roof when we needed shelter, she embodied the very essence of family—always there for others in their time of need. When the roles were reversed, she and her daughters even stayed with us for a while, and we were there for each other as true family should be.
