As many of you know my beautiful mother Catherine passed away yesterday morning unexpectedly from Covid. She suffered many years from pulmonary fibrosis but we finally had a light at the end of that tunnel. She was in the process of getting a double lung transplant. She contracted pneumonia and it was in the hospital where she was recovering that she came in contact with covid. At first she was actually doing amazing , the doctors were so surprised and thought we didn't have a reason to worry. But the covid hit her lungs a week later and within 24 hours my strong spirited mother was on a ventilator , later passing away. The last conversation I had with my mom she was talking about coming home and how much she looked forward to getting her lung transplant and going back to everything she loved. She went to everyone of my sons baseball games and when she could no longer do that it broke her heart. My mother loved me and my children more than anything in the world and all she wanted was to be home with us. I know many of you knew my mother personally and loved her. She worked in the school department for years and watched so many of you grow up. Please help our family bring my mom home. Anything helps
