It is with great sadness and an incredibly heavy heart that I announce that Carmen Vidal passed away suddenly after a car accident this morning. At 23, Carmen mother of Yesenia and beloved by her sisters Carol, Pearl, and Priscilla gained her wings though our hearts were not ready. She was beloved by not just them but by her other family members along with many friends and other loved ones as well.
Priscilla, who essentially raised Carmen is planning her funeral services. This is a very large and unexpected expense to add to all of the grief and hardship already present when losing someone as young and loved as Carmen. We're not looking to go above and beyond as we did not have funds to anticipate something so tragic happening but we still need help
Please, if you are able and find it in your heart, help us lay her to rest as the funeral home will not allow the burial to take place until the complete costs and fees are paid. Any donation big or small will be deeply appreciated. Donations here or Zelle (480-859-0343) to myself Daisy Castellano, or can be given in person to Priscilla Carbajal.
Those who know Carmen know she is a good person with a good heart. And know that she loves her baby girl more than anything in the world. She worked full-time at Truxtan Radiology. Carmen was always shy to those she just met but after a while, you learned she had a great sense of humor and a beautiful heart. Our family living here in Bakersfield was very small but very close. Even as young as she was I can remember her saying things like "It's not worth staying mad at each other. You never know what could happen". She would tell me not to be so grumpy with my mom (her oldest sister). And she always was saying how she wanted to visit Arizona and San Jose. She would say she was going to visit everybody. I'm so sorry she never got the chance to make those big visits but know she talked about it.
Any photos anyone has of Carmen that they would like to share with her family, please message them to me here on Facebook or text them to me. Her memory means so much to us right now.
Friends and loved ones, I know times are hard and we all have responsibilities but truly anything helps in times like these. So I thank you in advance for anything you find in your hearts to give if you are able to at all. And if you are not able to donate, please share her story. Please help us not have to cremate her, we want a place for loved ones, including her 4-year-old daughter as she gets older, to go sit and bring flowers to.
Donations here or Zelle (480-859-0343) to myself Daisy Castellano, or can be given in person to Priscilla Carbajal.
Both sides of the family on Yesenia's mom and dad's side have suffered a tremendous loss. Please pray for us. God Bless.
