It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the tragic loss of two beautiful souls, Carmen Elizabeth Poland, age 24, and her little sister, Lilly Davis, just 6 years old. Both were taken far too soon in a devastating car accident yesterday.

Carmen was a vibrant young woman with a bright future, known for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely. Lilly, full of innocence and joy, brought light and laughter to everyone around her. Their bond as sisters was unbreakable, and their loss leaves a void that words cannot begin to fill.

Their mother, Melissa Battle, survived the accident but is currently in the ICU in serious condition. She has suffered multiple broken bones and significant internal injuries, and she now faces a long and difficult road to recovery. As she fights to heal physically, she is also facing the unimaginable grief of losing both of her daughters.
