Help Lay Brenda Lee Scott to Rest

Hi, my name is Brenda Faye Scott, and I am reaching out to ask for help in laying my husband's sister, Brenda Lee Scott, to rest. Brenda Lee passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 26, at the age of 62. She lived alone with her beloved dog Gizmo and was a sweet, caring person who touched the lives of those around her. Brenda Lee suffered from COPD, and it is believed she had a heart attack. She was not married and had no children, but she was deeply loved by our family.

We are doing everything we can to manage the costs, but the expenses are more than we can handle on our own. Brenda Lee did not have a burial plot, and just that alone is a significant expense. The funds raised will go directly toward her funeral expenses and a memorial to honor her memory. We want to give her the respectful farewell she deserves, but we need help to make that possible.

If you are able to contribute, it would take a great deal of stress off my husband and our family during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping us honor Brenda Lee's life.

Brenda Lee Scott, age 62, a resident of Nunnelly, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at TriStar Horizon in Dickson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born on October 10, 1964, in Columbia, Brenda was the daughter of the late Fred Scott and the late Audrey McCrary Scott. She worked many years at AOP Lighting in Dickson. A devoted Christian, Brenda found joy in music, especially country and gospel, and was an avid Alabama football fan. She treasured the companionship of her beloved dogs, Baby and Gizmo. More than anything, Brenda cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Bobby Eugene (Brenda) Scott of Columbia, sister, Linda Potts (David Eatherly) of Lawrenceburg, and nieces and nephews, Autumn Potts, Brandy Martin, April (Mike) Damron, Andrea Siniard, Rebecca (Chris) Head, Cory (Kim) Scott, Angela (Izzy) DelToro, Jennifer Linhart, Timothy (Aspen) Linhart, and Chucky Linhart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Siniard, brother, Walter Scott, and best friend, Reyna Gillahan.
