Help Lay Brenda Courtney to Rest

My name is Sarah Courtney. My mother Brenda Courtney passed away this morning. Mom fought cancer for a while using chemo and radiation. Her last radiation treatment was on February 14th. With radiation being so hard on her body, she lost a lot of weight but was beating the cancer and we thought she was almost out of the woods. She had a fall about a week ago and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I took the kids up to see her on Sunday. Over the last week, unbeknownst to me, my mom began declining pretty quickly, becoming incoherent and her text messages not making much sense. When I didn't hear from her on Thursday, I took my kids to visit her in the hospital on Friday. Upon arriving, I found my mom had gone nearly comatose and was unresponsive. The doctors could not tell me why. At around 8 pm Friday, the hospital called and told me that her heart had stopped, but they were able to bring her back under full life support. At about 1215am Saturday, Mom's heart stopped again. The nurses and doctor tried to bring her back for almost an hour, but no pulse. Mom had taken out a life insurance policy back in November of 2024, but we are now finding out it will not pay in full. All I am asking is for help to bury my mom. She will be laid to rest at Greenhill Cemetery where her mother is also buried. Please, if you donate, it would mean the world to us. She was a strong woman, she helped so many people however she could, and she had a huge heart.
