Bernard was always a kind-hearted person with a genuine personality. People were naturally drawn to him because of his big heart and wonderful sense of humor. He brought light and laughter to everyone around him, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

On Saturday, our lives changed forever when Bernard was shot and killed on East 146 Kinsman Rd. As a mother, I am now faced with the heartbreaking task of laying my son to rest. I am reaching out for help to cover the memorial expenses and funeral arrangements, so we can give Bernard the farewell he deserves and find some comfort in honoring his memory.

If anyone ever knew my son or the other children I have cared for, you know I have always been a neighborhood mother and supporter. If you can give anything, it would be a blessing. In Jesus' name, Amen.
