Help Lay Baby Jhene to Rest with Love

Hello,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. My name is Brooklynne, and I’m a single mother to five beautiful children. Three of them have disabilities, and I do my best to care for all of them on a very limited income.

On May 17th, 2024, I gave birth to my youngest daughter, Jhene, at just 24 weeks. She came into this world fighting from the very start. She was diagnosed with chronic lung disease and GERD, which meant she needed a feeding tube to survive.

Jhene spent 154 days in the NICU, and on October 17th, 2024, she finally came home—our little warrior. She required round-the-clock care with oxygen support, a pulse oximeter, and her feeding equipment. Despite all her challenges, Jhene defied every expectation. She laughed, smiled, sucked on her fingers, and brought joy into our home every single day.

She was a true light in our lives.

Tragically, just shy of her first birthday, Jhene transitioned to eternal rest on April 29th, 2025. My heart is completely shattered. No parent should ever have to write these words or say goodbye to their baby.

I am reaching out with a humble heart, asking for help to give Jhene the beautiful farewell she deserves. Every dollar will go toward covering her funeral, burial, and a headstone fit for the little princess she was. If there is anything left, it will help me stay afloat and care for my other four children as we begin to grieve and heal.
