Help Nicole Lay Baby Everest to Rest

Hi, my name is Vanessa Ketring, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my step-sister, Nicole Chitwood. Nicole is a devoted single mother to two beautiful boys: Oliver Michael and Everest Cole.

Everest was born prematurely on February 26, 2025, weighing just 2 pounds 4.7 ounces and measuring 14 inches long. He came into this world fighting, and for 52 days, he remained in the NICU, showing immense strength and resilience. He was on oxygen support, received a blood transfusion, and overcame so many challenges with incredible bravery. On April 19, Everest finally came home to be with his mom and big brother.

Tragically, on the morning of May 13—his original due date—Everest passed away.

Nicole is now facing the unimaginable: saying goodbye to her baby far too soon. We are asking for help to cover the funeral and memorial expenses so she can honor Everest’s short but powerful life.
