February 12th, 2026 Update: We are heartbroken to share that baby Isaiah put up a good fight, but God chose to have him rest easy with his momma. 2/10/26-2/12/26. 2 days will never be long enough.

On Tuesday, February 10th, our family suffered a devastating loss. Our beloved niece Ashley Williams, who was 28 weeks and 4 days pregnant, was tragically shot and killed. By the grace of God, her son, Isaiah Ryan, survived but is now fighting for his life at Hurley Flint. No mother should ever have to bury her child, and our hearts are broken as we try to support our sister through this unimaginable pain. We are hoping to lighten her burden by giving Ashley the proper burial she deserves, while also ensuring that baby Isaiah has everything he needs as he faces a long and uncertain road ahead.

The funds raised will go directly toward Ashley’s burial expenses, Isaiah’s ongoing hospital care, and providing for his future needs. The suddenness of this tragedy has left us with many unexpected expenses, and we are doing everything we can to make sure Ashley is put to rest with dignity and that Isaiah receives the best possible care. The one thing we expected was time—more time with Ashley, more time to prepare for Isaiah’s arrival. Sadly, that time was taken from us, and now we are reaching out for help from our community.
