In Loving Memory of Art Vega

It’s with deep sadness that we share the loss of Art Vega, a beloved husband, brother, and friend. On July 19th, Art passed away after suffering a heart attack at work. This came just months after undergoing surgery on his femoral artery and facing complications from a previous TIA (mini-stroke). Despite ongoing treatments and plans to receive a pacemaker in August, his health took a sudden turn.

Art was the kind of man who showed up—at home, at work, and in life. He was a loving, loyal partner to his wife Sara, and the sole provider for their household. His passing has left a huge hole in our hearts and in Sara’s life, both emotionally and financially.

Sara is now facing this unimaginable loss, while trying to carry the burden of funeral costs and the everyday expenses Art once shouldered. One of his final wishes was to be laid to rest next to his mother in his hometown in Puerto Rico—a wish we, his family, are determined to fulfill.
