Art Cathey was a devoted mother who loved her son more than anything. She was a courageous woman who lived life out loud, always following her heart and her purpose. Art found her passion on the continent of Africa, dedicating herself to helping others from the States find a better and more prosperous life in Ghana. Her generosity and spirit touched so many lives, and she inspired those around her to dream bigger and live with intention.

Sadly, Art was diagnosed with colon cancer. She fought bravely until the very end, using all of her resources in her battle against the disease. Despite her strength and determination, she was unable to overcome it. Now, her family is facing the heartbreaking reality that they cannot afford to bury her in Ghana, as she wished. The cost of the burial is more than her loved ones can manage on their own.
