My family is facing an unimaginable loss. Just days before Christmas, my brother Anthony took his own life. The shock and heartbreak have been overwhelming, especially for my mother, who was the one to find him unresponsive. We were not prepared for this sudden tragedy, and the pain of losing Anthony has left us struggling to find a way forward.

My mother has already endured so much—she has buried both her husband and my younger brother, Lil Charles. They now rest together at Holy Cross, thanks to the kindness of my stepdad’s family and generous church donations. But this time, we are on our own, and the financial burden of another burial is more than we can manage alone. I have never done something like this before, but I know we need help to give Anthony the peaceful farewell he deserves.
