Angelita Valdez was not only a grandma, but also a mom, sister, beloved daughter, and a safe haven for people in need. Though she has passed, her spirit lives on through each and every one of her family members. My grandma was the place where everyone gathered—she was the stone that helped keep everything and everyone together. She was such a charismatic and artistic godsend angel, and her memory will always be cherished by those who knew her. May her spirit live on peacefully.
