Angel Sanchez Jr. was a beautiful 10-year-old boy who faced incredible challenges from the moment he was born. Born on September 6, 2015, with a stage 4 brain bleed, Angel was quadriplegic and relied on a pulse oximeter. He was also epileptic, and it took years for his family and doctors to get his seizures under control. Despite these hardships, Angel was surrounded by a loving family, including his siblings, who have also faced their own medical battles, with the older two having undergone brain surgery themselves.

On January 22, 2026, Angel was admitted to the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in critical condition. All possible medical efforts were made to treat and care for him. With profound sadness, we share that on February 5, 2026, Angel passed away, surrounded by his mother, father, siblings, and extended family. The loss of Angel has left a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
