Hi, my name is Zakiya, and I’m raising funds to help lay my baby brother, Amir, to rest. Amir was an amazing kid — kind, respectful, loving, and full of so much potential. He had a gentle heart and a bright spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He wasn’t just my brother; he was our family’s joy.

Tragically, Amir’s life was taken due to gun violence here in Jacksonville. Our family is devastated, and the pain of losing him is something we will carry forever. We are asking for help to cover Amir’s funeral and burial expenses. Any additional support will go toward helping our mother during this unimaginable time. Amir was her baby boy, and since his passing, it has been incredibly hard for her to be home alone and navigate life without him.
