Help Lay Amelia Rodriguez Chavez to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our very own, Amelia Rodriguez Chavez. Amelia was a loving wife, mother of 5, sister, tia, and daughter, but her favorite thing to be was Nana to her 19 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

Amelia was deeply cherished by her family and by those who became family through her warmth and kindness. She welcomed everyone into her life and home with open arms, becoming a mother figure to many. She was often found on the dance floor with her husband or in her van, driving her grandchildren, their friends, and wrestlers all around Paramount—whether it was to school, practices, games, or tournaments. Her enthusiastic cheers were a staple at Dog Pound and Paramount High wrestling events, and her absence will be felt at every tournament. To know her was to love her, and those she leaves behind will miss her immensely.

On behalf of the Rodriguez family, we humbly ask for your help to lay our beloved Amelia to rest. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated by the family. We thank you all for your support and compassion during this difficult time.

Amelia fue profundamente amada por su familia y por aquellos que se convirtieron en familia gracias a su calidez y amabilidad. Ella daba la bienvenida a todos en su vida y en su hogar con los brazos abiertos, convirtiéndose en una figura materna para muchos. A menudo se la encontraba en la pista de baile con su esposo o en su camioneta, llevando a sus nietos, sus amigos y a los luchadores por todo Paramount—ya fuera a la escuela, prácticas, juegos o torneos. Sus animados aplausos eran un sello distintivo en los eventos de lucha de Dog Pound y Paramount High, y su ausencia se sentirá en cada torneo. Conocerla era amarla, y quienes quedan atrás la extrañarán inmensamente.
