Alphonso ‘Al’ Lockhart was a loving father of eight and grandfather of nine, cherished by everyone who knew him. He was the kind of person who always showed up for others—whether it was a neighbor, coworker, friend, or family member. Al was a handyman who adored his children and grandchildren, and his sense of humor brought laughter and warmth to our lives. His parents have passed, and he is survived by one sibling, but his legacy lives on in the family and friends who loved him deeply.

Al’s passing was completely unexpected. He was healthy for the most part, but unfortunately did not have insurance to cover his final expenses. As his daughter, I am currently unemployed and facing the difficult task of arranging his memorial and cremation services, just as he wished. The costs are overwhelming, and I am reaching out for help to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
