Dear friends and supporters,
I am reaching out with a heartfelt appeal to help cover the necessary costs to ensure a dignified farewell for my dear friend, Ali Khaleji Mokoi.
Ali tragically passed away in Birmingham over two months ago, and due to various legal and procedural complications, his body has remained in the coroner’s custody. After ongoing efforts and coordination with the right authorities, we are now in the final stages of securing his release so that he can be laid to rest in his homeland, where his family awaits.
However, we need to raise approximately £3,000 to cover the essential costs, which include:
✅ Official documentation and release fees
✅ Transportation and necessary arrangements
✅ Casket and burial-related expenses
Who Was Ali?
Ali was a well-known figure in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, recognized for his technical skills in repairing catering equipment for local takeaways and restaurants. He was also a skilled electrician and handyman, assisting numerous households with their repair needs. More than anything, Ali was someone who always lent a helping hand to those in need.
My Connection with Ali
I had the privilege of knowing Ali for eight years, and over this time, I saw both his struggles and his incredible resilience. Despite the difficulties he faced, Ali always remained kind-hearted and generous, never hesitating to help those around him. His passing has deeply affected many of us, and I am committed to ensuring that he is given the proper farewell he deserves.
How You Can Help
Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Ali receives the burial he rightfully deserves.
