I have known Lawrence for over 10 years. We met because he was a customer of mine at Circuit City. I invited him to a Mazda meet (he had a Miata and I had a Protege5), and we've been friends ever since! Countless days, evenings, and late nights working on cars, talking about cars, partying, drinking, eating, etc. have happened since.

If you know Lawrence, you know he is ALWAYS fun to be around. "Spend nights you won't remember, with people you'll never forget" -- he is truly one of those friends. He has always been a great friend for both my wife and I, and countless other people around the world, and now he needs our help.



The bones on both his upper and lower jaws are deteriorating and putting him in immense pain. This is an aggressive form of erosion  that is hereditary. He unfortunately has been jobless due to Covid. He will need a bone graft, implants, and veneers to rectify the problem and stop the pain. The issue is that this procedure is generally considered to be "cosmetic" and therefore is not covered under the insurance he does have. 


You can see in the x-ray above that there are little to no teeth and bone showing up, that's because its not there. Imagine how hard it must be to eat and live like this. 

Lawrence told me that the surgery is about $20,000 PER JAW, meaning $40,000 total. Right now the lower jaw is the worst and requires immediate surgery, but they will not schedule until it is fully paid for. He has been saving up and getting money from family members, but is only at about $7k. There's a long way to go and every day he is living in pain.
