My name is Latasha Ellerman and I’m creating this fundraiser for my father-in-law, Lawrence Sumerlin. Lawrence has been a hardworking truck driver for most of his life. He’s the most giving person I know. He had what we thought was a gallbladder attack in August of this year. They took his gallbladder out, and testing confirmed it was actually a rare type of cancer. The cancer spread to his liver, and it's stage 3. He is now undergoing chemotherapy and will also start radiation. Any donation they receive will help with monthly bills since Lawrence isn’t able to work. This will also help with travel and any hotel stays for Ann while Lawrence is having treatment. Thoughts and prayers are also appreciated. I will update with how his treatment is going.
