Lawrence is a devoted 61-year-old father of nine from Baltimore, who is bravely battling the end stages of advanced cancer. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and support his wife and children during this urgent, heartbreaking time.

Our Story

Lawrence has always been the heart of the family. He is a loving husband and a proud father to eight — all of whom he has raised with unwavering dedication and care. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family, coaching his kids' sports teams, celebrating every school play, and teaching them the values of kindness, perseverance, and community. Lawrence’s gentle smile and warm laugh have touched everyone who knows him, from neighbors to old friends. He is the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back when needed, and always putting his family first. Lawrence has been battling cancer since 2017; however, this year his cancer has taken an extreme turn by spreading to his duodenum, colon, and adrenal gland, ultimately requiring his admittance into hospice. Doctors have alerted us that he does not have longer than 2 weeks left to live. The news was devastating and gut-wrenching. He has been undergoing treatments and surgeries, fighting harder than any of us could have imagined, yet despite his courage and our prayers, this is the outcome given to us by his team of doctors. Every day now is a precious gift. He spends his hours resting in hospice, cherishing quiet moments with his wife and children, and receiving love and care from family, friends, and the dedicated hospice staff. As Lawrence’s condition worsened over the years, he became too weak to work, and the mounting bills have strained the family’s finances. We want his last days to be free from worry—not just for him, but for the family he has built and taken care of with so much love. The burden of funeral costs, housing, food, and everyday expenses would be overwhelming for anyone, let alone our large family who are already grieving and caring for Lawrence.
